STORYING

Step 1:

Group assigns portion of reading to one person in the group to re-tell at next meeting.

Step 2:

When groups meets next, the person assigned, retells the portion as best they can by memory.

Step 3:

Group then re-tells story together again, without help from original teller (help and prompt each other).

Step 4:

The bible passage is then read out loud, pausing to note where points were missed or incorrect.

Step 5:

Facilitator has group answer questions.

GOSPEL FLUENCY

QUESTIONS

As you study the daily readings, pause and ask these questions to better understand the good news.

1:

Who is God / Jesus?

3:

Who are we in light of that work?

2:

What has He done? What is He doing?

4:

How can we live in light of who we are?

How to process feelings or circumstances using Gospel Fluency:

1:

What am I doing or experiencing right now?

3:

What do I believe God is doing or has done?

2:

In light of what I am doing or experiencing, what do I believe about myself?

4:

What do I believe God is like?

If the answer to these questions is something we know is NOT true about God, then ask the questions again , starting with what we know about who God / Jesus is.
