1. What stands out for you after reading/hearing about the Sermon on the Mount? How has your view of Jesus changed or expanded?

2. Some people say that it would be impossible to live the way Jesus suggests today. Make a list of what is hard to live the way Jesus suggests and why. Then compare to what we know of Jesus audience back then. Is it harder today? Even if it is, do you think Jesus expects His followers to obey anyway?

3. What is the part of the sermon on the mount you have the hardest time living out in your context of life? Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to be transformed to become more like Jesus and be able to live what the Sermon on the Mount says.
