3. Peter’s perspective of Jesus was in line with who Jesus actually was. However Peter’s perspective of how Jesus would establish the Kingdom of Heaven was not in line with God’s perspective at this point in the reading.

How might our perspective need to shift in order to ‘let Jesus lead’ as He put it? Put another way, how has earthly thinking influenced how we follow Jesus and how can we determine if our perspective is truly aligned with the Kingdom of Heaven?
